Rush
The first step to joining is the Rush Process. You are expected to attend at least two rush events to be considered for membership. It is recommended to attend more than two so that the chapter can get to know you during this process.
There are also two mandatory events during rush: Interviews and a Mystery Event. After these two events, if the chapter decides you are a good fit for AXΣ, you will be extended a bid.
Pledging
Once you accept your bid, you will begin the pledging process. Throughout your time pledging, you will learn about the fraternity's history, Zeta's history, and be tested on your knowledge during weekly pledge meetings. You will also learn a Zeta tradition called the Physical Chem.
The pledging process also includes other events in which you will meet and interact with members of AXΣ as well as the rest of your pledge class. Throughout the semester, you will need to satisfy the requirements set by the VMAs. Once complete, you will be allowed to initiate into full membership at the end of the semester.
