Alpha Chi Sigma is a unique professional and social fraternity for men and women in the chemical sciences. We are bound by three fraternal objects:
To bind its members with a tie of true and lasting friendship.
To strive for the advancement of chemistry both as a science and as a profession.
To aid its members by every honorable means in the attainment of their ambitions as chemists throughout their mortal lives.
We are the Zeta chapter of Alpha Chi Sigma, established in 1908 at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Currently, our chapter consists of around 50 active members of both men and women who share their love of chemistry but we'd love to expand.
