Professional Events
AXΣ organizes numerous events for our members throughout the semester, including multiple professional events. These events help our members prepare for the professional world and build professional connections. Professor Chats
Along with the annual Krug Lecture, we also invite University of Illinois professors to speak to us about their research. This is not only a great way to learn more about chemistry and future career paths, but also a great way to network with professors you may be interested in working with in the future! Below are pictures from our discussion with Dr. Ray.
Krug lecture
Every year we host a Krug lecture. This event is open to all University of Illinois students. We invite a professor or researcher to talk about their work. This is a Zeta tradition. If you would like to learn more about Krug, you can find more information under the "About Us" tab. Here are a couple photos from after our 2022 Krug Lecture!
