AXΣ offers many different events to our members throughout the semester including professional events. This is a great way to allow our members more to prepare for the professional world and to build professional connections. Below you will find a few examples of the professional events
we hold every semester.
Along with the annual Krug Lecture, we also invite University of Illinois professors to come speak to us about their research. This is not only a great way to learn more about chemistry and future career paths, but also a great way to network with professors you may be interested in working with in the future! Below are pictures from our discussion with Dr. Ray.
Every year we host a Krug lecture. This event is open to all University of Illinois students. We invite a professor or researcher to talk about their work. This is a Zeta tradition. If you would like to learn more about Krug, you can find more information under About Us. Here are photos from after our Krug Lecture this semester!
